This album holds some select images from an October 2018 trip to Moab, UT.
I was fortunate to travel to Moab, Utah and join others for some expert mentoring and tutorials from some of the worlds finest photographers with the "Out of Chicago: Moab" workshop.
Although the weather was pretty dreary at times, we made the best of it and found windows of light, color, and shape. Mother Nature isn't always cooperative...or is she? Turns out, Delicate Arch drenched in a steady rain is pretty incredible.
At the end of the trip I had a day to get to my departure city of Grand Junction, CO so I took a circuitous route through the La Sal Mtns, Uncompahgre Nat'l Forest past Dallas Mtn and Mt. Sneffels near Telluride on the way to Black Canyon of the Gunnison Nat'l Park. It was a mesmerizing ride with color and clouds at every turn.
